National Institute of Bank Management was found in 1969 by the Reserve Bank of India. It was formed by consulting with the Indian government to give a new vision to banking industry in India. The main focus of the institute is to make efforts that help in the national development of the country. The institute is spread into 60 acre plot in Sylvan surroundings in a picturesque valley in Pune with minimum distraction and almost no pollution. The courses offered in the institute are Post-graduate Programme in Banking and Finance (PGPBF), Post Graduate diploma in Management (PGDM) and many other training courses. NIBM is one of the main research and academic institutes of banking industry. Its aim is to upgrade the knowledge and skills for the development of top management skills. The institute aims to be the bridge between the banks to make 100% security to their financial positions. The institute serves not only in the country but have tie-ups with various banks and developing countries.
