About Jagannath University

Jagan Nath University, Bahadurgarh, Haryana has been established under Haryana State Legislature Act No. 8 of 2013, approved under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 and is member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University started functioning with effect from academic session 2013-14 on its own 25 acres campus located at State Highway 22, Bahadurgarh-Jhajjar Road, Haryana. The University has launched UG and PG programmes in the Faculties of Engineering and Technology, Architecture, Management, Law, Journalism and Mass Communication, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences and Education. The main objective is to impart high quality education and promote employability among youth in the country. To achieve it, the University has developed an excellent physical and academic infrastructure, recruited highly qualified and experienced faculty, state-of-the- art classrooms, laboratories and other facilities. To ensure adequate practical exposure to students, among other things, the technical programs are being implemented with industry support. We are committed to develop this University as a center of excellence in higher education to meet the aspirations of today's youth by giving them right type of education keeping in view of the current market requirements.
